Finally rolled this outside after a few months work of derusting and making the windows smaller, it was a real super rusty pile. Bought it on here to keep it from being parted and crushed. Actually got the door to close evenly with a fingers push. Nowhere near out of the woods yet, but good to see a ray of light!!

This is 4" vertical in the front and 4.5" in back, split the roof and extended the quarter windows back to stock length. 49 window surround laid down in the stock location. My lil' Sears flux core has got some miles on it now! :D

This is a pic from a week or so ago. Still had some hammering and welding to do in the C pillar.

Well look at you go!! Nice to see a straight B pillar in an angled B pillar world.

Cuttin one of those is an ass load of work, no??

    Looks good, -Abone.

  6. I like that style with the B post kept vertical and the Quarter window back corner kept rounded. Nice work.

Cool thanx guys, I wasn't even going to post pics but when I got the front end near where it's supposed to be, and the one door back on, I got SO souped.

Yea Jim, if I have to sell this one I'm going to need a FEW boxes of Kleenex! :D

Thanx so much for the positive comments!

Well, just got off the phone with Wells Fargo and we are preapproved for our loan....so it seems this is 95% going to be for sale soon after its finished, so if anyone REALLY loves it... :D

I've sold a bunch of my old cars, only really regret my 55 Olds Holiday, my 65 Mustang fastback, and I am totally positive...this as well. But If we get the house we are looking at that this will become the down payment for, it will totally be worth it. I can have a whole farm of Mercs on the 2 acres! :D :D :D

dont take the man lightly either when he says "whole farm of merc's" because he will, so buy one now while chris has no room cause as soon as he has open land all the 49-51 mercs will be there!!!
