    Just got my video and some of the pictures uploaded. Since people seemed to like my video from last year, I put together another one this year. Big difference though is that I got rid of my crappy Sony digi cam and got a Cannon S5IS. The camera took amazing action shots, and great quality video.

    Here is the video; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-E_w6PBjME

    Here are the pictures I've uploaded so far; http://s68.photobucket.com/albums/i2/Moloko68/Jalopy Showdown 2008/Action/

    And here are some previews;

    Once again thanks to Larry and his crew for putting on a great show. Even rain can't put this show down.

    Where are all the guys hanging the ass end out on the track tossing dirt everywhere? Looked like a bunch of cars making parade laps trying to see how muddy they could get.

    Great stuff-that shot of the 999 making the big splash is cool.

    Some of them got wilder than others,but they kind of frown on anyone trying to knock the fences down,so.....<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

    Yeah, there is a 40mph speed limit, and if you take out a piece of fence, or cause any other damage, you pay for it.

    On top of that, the track was so slippery this year most cars couldn't even reach 40. I almost fell on my ass everytime I had to cross from the infield to the outside.

    I got there just as everyone was leaving :eek:

    I spent about 4 hours Sunday morning getting the mud off my car from a few minutes in the infield.

    It looked like it was fun.......999 was sitting sideways completely covered in mud. I offered Clark a ride in the T but maybe after he hcleaned up !!

    2009 !!!:cool:
