Today was a Benifit Car Show for "Alicia", who is the daughter our fellow Poor Boy brother Myron Jr. who we lost in a car accident in December.
There were 150+ cars that came out to support the cause. The show was organized by a good friend of Myron's family, and the intire family was there to share the day. All of the proceeds went to Alicia to help her in years to come to deal with life without her Dad.
It was a very emotional day for many of us, and the love and kindness just poured out all day from all in attendance.

The Florida Poor Boys were there to support Alicia, and Myron Sr. and his lovely wife Joyce ( which are members of our chapter) with our friendship and support.

A newly formed HotRod Club named the "F-Bombs" out of Tampa made the journey to support "Alicia" also. It was great to see the guys, and injoy there company.

Being a 'open' style car show, there were not allot of Traditional-Old-Style HotRods and Customs in attendance, but the ones that where there were really nice.

This Original '37 Chevy Cop Car, was just finished with a totally updated V8 drive train by our own John, operator of 'John's Rod Shoppe', for a great friend of the Poor Boys named Larry.

Another fine job by our own in field reporter and club historian Glenn.
It was a most excellent day having the whole club together and supporting a worthy car show to help out Myron Jr's young one.
I always have a good time hanging out with my Poor Boy Brothers and today was doubly so with the benefit show for Alicia.

Why Thanks C9! I appreciate it. I did manage to find a well-ventilated hood for my car. I said the only way I'd run a hood is if it had louvers and last week I got one.:D Poor Boy "Big Mike" turned me on to the location. It has 166 louvers. Little minor work and on it goes. Mike

  21. You also have to thank S. Fl. HAMBer Dodgerodder, for sending me to the shop a few years ago to check it out and find them... Viva la HAMB!!

It was great hanging out and relaxing with the FLPBs, I only get to come up once or twice a month, but it's worth it every time.

And to Steve, from Pasco Auto Salvage, I can't think of a better way to earn Karma points, Thanks.

Yeh Alan, I'll be out for Midnight M*** in July.

No Bruce, I will leave my hokey *** hat at home. Besides, I don't think it would get through airport security.

Steve is definetly a cl*** act.
If you are looking for someone to look up to, he would be an excellent choice. A fine example of a humanitarian.

Steve is a major-stand-up guy, someone that Jennifer and I consider our best friend. He and his lovely wife Cindy have been there for us and our sons forever, through all of the good, bad and trying times.
Steve and Cindy to this day still check up on us to see how we are making out with our loss of Cody.
The USA is a better place with folks like Steve and Cindy.

I'm glad that I was able to make it to the show. Alicia looked to really have a great day and I stayed dry.
