Some of the Sinners are trying to get a plan worked up to make this trip. All else fails we will all jump in one ride and roll up there.. Hopefully Chops will make enough chile for everyone.. haha...

got a million things to do to my chevy before the trip, i guess i'll get 3 or 4 done! i'll at least get some primer onto the bare metal. today's job is insulation.

i also need to remember radshits care package!

Getting down to the wire - still need to get my tires mounted tomorrow morning...would also like to work on my ignition, but might not chance it.

Won't be able to stay too long as I'm driving over to Prescott, AZ to look at a possible project...

 

I end up getting to travel for work this weekend. I really was ready to go, now that's shot. Have fun.

i was there!! set up with the road devils de duke city!!!! the show was a blast and i got alot of good coments on my 32 ford chassis that was there the best part was meeting BO HUFF and jr HUFF as wella s all the dead sleders they were very cool and bo is that man because the word of thge day is bipitty bop

I was there. Some cool cars. Good time. Got to visit with metalman for a while (hadn't seen him in ages).

You guys need a bigger place next year...

Only 4 flatheads in the whole joint...LOADS of chevy sixes...

 

That's cos flatheads don't work....just kidding, kinda.

 

Yep I was there met BO huff and took a picture with him next to my 55 ford. then I popped open the trunk and we drank some Pacifico cervezas that I took. had a great time with the Dead Sleds.
sad part is lost my camera and and all the pictures I had.

 

that's funny, bo huff walked up to ME out of the blue and said hi. i guess the celebrity builders must spend their spare time stalking us obscure guys? haha.

had a good time, big thanks to radshit for his hospitality again. we made it back fine, though we got pinched for 78 in a 65 coming down a hill, oops! that's what i get for taking the scenic route home.

lots of neat cars at the show, and especially lots of nice ol BOMBS!

i didn't get much for pics.

oh and of course as i'm typing this post, the chrome shop calls and my grille is done. just as i expected, right after i wanted it for the show!

I was there. Great show! We had a blast... We also got to meet Bo Huff and his kid. Very cool dudes... The show grows every year... We'll need more room for sure next year. We barely made it in because we had a broken oil line to deal with on the way in on my buddy's '54. Got it taken care of and slid right in the show before they started turning people away... Here's some pics...
