Whose going to the Indy Road Rocket show Saturday?

The Czars will be there, but alas, I will be the only one without a freakin' car. I'll be selling my new hot rod model boxtop art tshirts (featuring a few HAMBer's cars ) at the weekender (in the hotel atrium).

Who else is going?

 

the majority of the officers and some members of my club (the drifters) will be going.i should be going if i finish fixin the brakes on my 54..hope to see you all there!

Cool, I've been looking forward to meet you FatRat. One of my best friends lives in Cincy, and I've been trying like hell to get him out to some of the shows out there. He just had a baby and is driving a slammed '67 Buick Wagon, so I think he feels a bit out of place. His heart is all traditional cars though.

 

There is nothing wrong with a wagon. I will be looking for a family cruiser here soon as my wife is 7 months pregnant. What part of town does he live in?

I will be there.. I am (czars too) hosting a meet and greet in the east parking lot...friday afternoon about 12ish.. unveiling our thrown together tiki bar.. i will supply some booze (umbrella drinks for the girls) and a couple cases of PBR for everyone who wants to hang out and shoot the ****...

FatRat, he lives in Anderson Township and the wagon is for sale as we speak. It's a neat car. Good driver material.

Rich, I don't know that I have the inventory to handle the m*** orders that the HAMB may throw at me, but here are the shirts. The concept was vintage hot rod model box top art. Who a**** us doesn't remember building model cars for hours. Some of us never grew out of that, but the toys got bigger! Others still turn out amazing models stop my in my tracks equally as an adult as when they did when I was a kid. You'll recognize Pakrat, B*** (both cars) and Big Ric (both cars) on the boxes. I haven't determined shipping or anything yet. I'm picking up the first low batch/gr*** roots effort today in fact. I had planned on making a quick site or something and putting it in the cl***ifieds section, but I haven't had time yet. For now it just will end up being low key.

Hatch and I went two or three years ago and had a great time. A great bunch of cool cars. It was well worth. This year we are savin or travel time and $$$$ for some show over by Chicago but I don't recall the name of it I know I'll see you there.

 

I've always heard it was a good show, but it's the same day as the Downriver Cruise (a mini Woodward Cruise).

Hopefully I can bail out of working Saturday and make the cruise and just play catch up at work on Sunday. It's pretty bad when your hoping it rains on a Saturday, so I can get some time to get the roadster running.

Nope, not me. The HRR in Bowling Green used up all my extra $$ for the month. I'm going to head to the "Downriver Cruise" that Beatnik is talking about. It's an actual cruz instead of the usual parking lot show. Pretty cool.

Make sure you p*** out lots of postcards for the HCP while at Indy.

 

Anderson Township is just a couple of burbs south of me. The shirts look great! See you Saturday.
