There is no shortage of restored and new traditional style rods. I hope they start doing features on them. THe history is awesome, but they neecd more to grow and get me to regularly part with my ever shrinking amount "play money".

Keep an eye out for Hometown Hot Rod Magazine Issue #6 available Nationwide at Borders in June. I think you will like what you see:)

 Centurian9, I'm sure your grandson see's way worse at the mall or TV than in ANY hot rodding magazine.

I think they are doing a great job. We sell the crap out of them in our store.

I dig it, I bought the current issue and thought the story about the Chevy gasser was pretty rad, I really dig the old photos and layout.

I'd buy it again for sure, but TRK is still my #1.

It is a good mag I could do without the tattoo chicks. But the photography and text is real good. The part on Vern Tardel is dope. And the Lil beau T is amazing.

I dig the layout, the vintage pictures, the writing is pretty good and the Parts with Appeal section is cool.

Great mag, I loved the article on the 55 gasser in the latest issue. Does anybody have any information on if or when they are going to make subscriptions available?

I like it got the new issue today, it has tech, and old cars but no culture crap. I am 63 and lived without tats, nose and eyebrow holes etc. and do not need to look at those with them.
Also most of the cars they show are well built and safe, some of the alternate mags feature cars and ideas that are not.

  21. I relunctantly openned one at the barber the other day, expecting the same old crap and I was pleasantly surprised. The coverage was very focused and they are making an effort to bring to light the vast Hot rod archive of vintage photos and stories. The writing seemed to lack a bit, but there wasn't any articles on how to properly cuff your pants or how to faux patina yer ride... I will buy it again.
