Our first gathering of the season at the local A&W.See the Essex does run! Thanks to Fordnutz for the pictures.
Sweet! I better get to work on my '31. Although for me its more about building it than driving it. Yeah right, I just say that when nothing is getting done.
Thanks gents;sure feels good to have a ride again. Boyd Who;I'll keep an eye out for your Essex P/U;hell of a nice rod.
If we ever end up at the same event we'll have to park side by side and really mess with the "non-car" folks. An Essex pickup?? A flathead Essex engine??? WTF!! Hehehehehe.
I hope you are looking for a real Essex radiator shell to replace that belly button '32 Ford piece. One shouldn't be too hard to find.
Rich; Thanks for the note. A couple of points in why I don't have an Essex shell. 1.Don't like 'em 2.All I found were rusty and chroming costs an arm and a leg. 3.Lots of folk THINK the car is a '32 Ford;some people don't know what the hell it is. 4.I like the look of a '32 shell. Thanks for noticing;mission accomplished.
