I don't know about the unfinished gl*** body, but I recognize the pic of the blue merc on top. That car was around here in the 90's, had 4 split, rear bumpers, stacked up style and I believe a 57 Chev front bumper.

Yea,that's it. I didn't want to promote his sale so I didn't post his ad. I saw that and wondered where it came from. I couldn't find the website. Thought I would ask if anybody else knows anything about it.

Yea,Outlaw52 gave me a poster of that car,HA HA! I haven't seen it on e-bay before. What are they trying to get for them? I don't know why he has that blue, flamed Merc on his ad cause it's not made from the kit. The kit says it has a tilt front end.

And when it's done, it's not a custom. You have to actually cut one up and do work for that!

I REAAAALLLY want one of em. When they are on ebay I just sit and oogle over em, think it would be super duper neat in a flat black with a tubbed rear w/ painted on whitewalls, skinny tires up front, a bare bones interior (1 seat) and a ground pounding BBC or the such under the hood. Ever since I saw Johnny Rocca's Ironhorse I've wanted a gl*** Merc drag car.

I don't believe this is the P&J kit. They were made in Danville, Va.,
    and had '51 rear quarters.

I believe the blue Merc pictured to be one of Bill Reasoner's.
