Shave and a haircut!! Might add, don't waste the 9" in this thing, find 10 bolt or 8" for it,, the 9" is hell bent for stout but is not as efficient as the smaller ones.
Hey, I have one of those too. How is a 24 different from a 25? I thought I had a 25. I'm going for a slight chop, 283 2bbl and 3 speed because they're free, and an 8". Still working on a plan for the frame. Here's mine:
hey yall thats what im talk'n about!!! i wanna see what is out there! what everyone else has or is gonna do... junkyardroad & bobw thanks... keep'em coming im feeling inspired!!!
Nice, I've got an old DB frame but I'm not sure on the year, what I do know is it's old because the tree that's growing between the rails is huge. I don't have pictures but I'm working on a '29 Pontiac Big Six for a customer. 4 Inch chop, 215 Olds Turbo Rocket, Hydro, 9inch, handmade frame with a small kick up in the rear. Suicide axle with Roth style coil springs. It's getting painted a pearl electric blue with white pearl scallops. White pearl vinyl interior. She's a beauty. Good luck with the dodge.
If you're gonna build a Dodge, BUILD A DODGE. That means dodge slant 6 instead of the chevy. That means a dodge dash, hood ornament, tail lights, steering wheel, etc. And I don't mean OG '24 stuff, pick if off any year dodge you find appropriate for the car's theme. IMO the car will just seem cooler if it has some brand continuity. It's the same effort in the garage, just a little more effort searching the raw materials. I'm not some kind of mopar nut preaching in the name of ma mopar, you'd get the same speil if you were building an olds or pontiac. Good luck
I'm thinking more of an east coast cartoon look. Stock height roof, fenderless, channelled, multiple carbs sticking through the hood. Look at what everyone else does, and do something slightly different.
