searching thru threads today i've noticed this member "0523jk" his post all look the same with squares....underlined links....and more squares. I checked out his profile and all of his 40 something posts are from today...so ryan do we have a hacker a****st us??
just linked his posts from the members search, all the responses are in some asian alphabet and his sign in stuff in teh profile is bogus.
i have been seeing big gray bars in the middle of threads over the last 2 days like ads that didn't load...lots of them in the ones i pull off the search forum.
The search function in vBulletin (what this site runs) has known holes and is a target for spammers/bots.
On a related note, I lost my hard drive when I clicked on a link on a sailing forum this week and wasn't paying enough attention to what my anitvirus/firewall was telling me. Don't open links unless you know who they came from.
According to the gizmo I have for translations, that stuff is being written in Japanese. A lot of mumbo jumbo, and really hard to make sense of. I even tried to run the name of the sender, and it came out to be mumbo jumbo too, so my guess, it's just spam. I see where it's infiltrated just about everywhere except here on the message board. I just used another translation Chinese-traditional to English and it's talking about GC steam valves. Whoop t do.
yeah we get the same **** on the eurodragster web site here in the uk mainly in the parts for sale section wondered what it was
