The intake looks like it's for a slant six. Nice scores all around. Damn this scrapping thing sucks!

that is a slant six intake, i had an offy on one of mine years ago (damn that was a fun time in my life). lord knows i had more mopars than you could shake a stick at and every one of them an off topic muscle car. and the two cars i never should have sold was my very cherry 70 Challenger, and my grandma owned 30,000 mile fully loaded 73 swinger dart that was sublime green came factory with out the vinyl top.

  9. That Poncho is a 1940. My buddy has one just like it. I built him a 428 Pontiac engine for it...runs hard!

Any more pics of the Aircar/COE? Maybe even a price? Boston's not that far away although being big and red, it might be kind of hard to hide from my old lady.

There is a COE thread that has been poping up from time to time, I think there is a pic of one in that thread.

Autocar-Long History-they started out VERY early, around 1900 or so. Built both cars and trucks then went exclusively trucks. They were built in Ardmore(Philly).
The Autocar was a premium truck, highly regarded, rugged durable, sort of like Mack.

http://www.autogallery.org.ru/k/k/38kromhout-Autocar_JanDeVries.jpg Here is a 38 which is about what the one you saved is I would say. I have NO idea of the value.
Someone at the American truck Historical society might be able to help with that.

That is a cabover city truck. Autocar was more known for their conventional(Long nose) trucks.

Pretty sure there are some ATHS chapters active in New England. Maybe one of the guys might be interested in the Autocar. They restore old trucks like the AACA car guys do.
