Changed out the Holley 1909 carb, on the 62 Comet, for a rebuilt Falcon (manual choke) carb model of the same year. I got a good rebuild (seems to be a rare occurrence) and after a few adjustments, the car runs great. However, the fuel supply line going to the carb is dripping when I hit the throttle. I did a search and only found the teflon tape vs. gas post and a couiple others that shot off on tangents. What do you guys use for small fuel leaks? If possible I want something that's not permanent. It's not an emergency, but I dont want to drive it around with fuel dripping onto the exhaust manifold. Thanks.
If it's a pipe thread retape it and reistall. If it's an inverted flair simply loosen up and retighten.
