I have a ford 9 inch rearend, 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern with the new style pattern where the backing plate bolts up for the brakes. I am trying to find some brakes in the junkyard and wondering if anyone knows what year and model fords had this rearend? I have been searching but this is kicking my **** atm. Thanks for any help.

just look for any ford that has a 9" that has 3/8 holes in the backing plates this has 2& 3/8 back spacing and this should help you. small bearing ford 9" and 8" will not work

1957 9 inch came in station wagons, t-birds, rancheros, & fit fine under st.rods without narrowing.-------Don
