I've been so busy with LIVE WIRE that i've been putting off MFS stuff for a bit.. but now i'm back to work and getting new products out and I wanted to update on whats been on my mind for 2008... So a few months ago I got a call from my pal Brett Barris and he informed me that he is back at barris after some time off to reclaim the Barris Brand and bring back some of the traditional aspects of Barris... So they have been going through stuff and Brett decided to put out a book of Barris Photography.. for those that don't know Barris was quite the photographer shooting allot of pictures that you have seen in the mags as well as Pin-ups, Tech articles and friend cars.. Well Brett wanted to do a DVD as well and who did he call???.. me... What a honor!!!!! So I met up with him last week and he showed me boxes of never before seen Pix, proofs and transparent of stuff George shot....So I get to go through all this and tell the story of George the Kustom Photographer... Through the Eye of Barris: The Photography of George Barris (Working Title) Should be out later this year... STOKED!!! Next to bat Mad Fabricators 5.5 the LIVE WIRE CHRONICLES!!!!! I've been shooting the car since day one and I have sooooo much footage that it just wouldn't fit on a regular Mad Fab DVD with all the other stuff...so I decided to make it its own DVD.. Its the story of a Hot Rod that was found on farm with chickens living in it a Cover / Feature car in Rod And Custom all in a year and a half... I got some cool plans to shoot he car Downtown LA at night through the tunnels and will also do a pinup shoot as well..... New on Mad Society Music: Knuckle Drager "You Do Better" available middle of June Knuckle Drager is back with pure Metal Surf monster madness!!! Stay tuned... Then... Mad Fabricators Volume 6 Will feature mostly young (our Generation) builders / Collectors this time around with the usual Survivors, Drag Racing, Monsters, Artist,Minibikes and the rest of the Mad Fab Chaos... hopefully this will happen before December just in time for Xmas!!! Awesome!!!! I am really excited about the 5.5 Live Wire Extravaganza. I just know that the inspiration from watching the build up of it is going to be worth it's weight in gold you sly son of a bitch! Viva La Mad Fab!!!
