How hard are patch panels and front fenders to find for a '57 Ford Fairlane?

And is $800 too much for this?

    '57 Ford Fairlane 4dr
    292 Bored .030", 30,000 miles on engine, 2spd auto 3000 miles

Rusting through on the front fenders and one of the rear quarter panels. Straight and solid otherwise even the floor.

Needs a carb kit and new ball joints but has NOS ball joints with it.

Guy is the second owner, claims the first owner was a mechanic and it does run smooth other than it's a little rough at idle, front end shimmy, and the choke is busted.

I think you can find the patch panels you,re looking for at Dennis Carpenter. they can be found on-line. the front fender rot on the front top is common.

  3. I would grab it for 800. The paneLs are available at Dennis Carpentar or MACS. 57'S make nice mild customs
