Hi all, I just happened across this board after being a member of ruffrodders and the StudebakerDriversClub message boards. I love checking out all the pictures of what others around the world are working on. I own a 1960 Stude Lark 4door that needs a ton of work. It does run, but that's about all it has going for it right now... I need to find lots of body pieces as it's seen its share of collision damage and I figure I'll start from there. Plans include lowering it, wide whites and spider caps, eliminating most of the chrome expect for the belt trim and a few pieces here and there, building the original 259 with a cam and dual two-barrels, and right now I'm thinking a satin two-tone dark red on the bottom with black on top. If anyone out there has any leads on desert parts I may need, or if you're in my area and just want to chat, please drop me a line. I'm getting anxious to get to work on this thing and I'll post pictures as I do. -Mark
Hi Mark, I bought a 60' lark wagon (V8 259, 3 speed OD) a month ago... I'm just getting into the car.. its a driver but does have issues. I also plan on lowering my ride as well. Lets keep in touch and maybe we can help each other out. Dave-
Hey Mark, I have a '58 Stude 2 Door Wagon that is screaming for a 500 inch Cad. Been walking around this thing for a couple of years now wondering how to open the hood, I have a problem of staying on task. Get out there and do something,,(easy for me to say).
