Nice pictures, nice cars, even the cab over looks wild, really makes me want to get something going. Thanks for posting the pic's , next best thing when you can not make it to the shows.
the Panel Beaters rented a B&B in Nipomo about 15 min.s no. of S.M. it was a big, it had many rooms and we got breakfast served to us every morning. it has a huge back yard we parked in, it was our own mini show back there.
Do you , or anyone know more obout that olds convert? (post # 2 ^ waaay up there!) I am wondering if it is a new build? The reason I ask, is that in one of my 1950's little pages books, there is a sectioned 49 olds convert.......
Cool pictures.... was the B&B part of a master plan or did you guys just get lucky? anyway thanks for posting
Even the cab over...??? Cab overs always rock! Damn that looks like it was one hell of a good time. Here I am 4 short hours away and still not able to make it. Stupid work!
J man, that little modified was built by a good friend derek in Tulare. CA at his shop Boling Brothers Early Iron. very talented and humble guy! you can find the build pics on the ruffrodders forum. heres the link. http://www.ruffrodders.com/cgi-bin/ib/ikonboard.cgi?;act=ST;f=110;t=8360;st=0
I hope its not the original. its still a very nice custom BUT, it would mean someone installed a modern frenched headlight "KIT" in it. I am really hating the word "kit" these days. aceuh, that blue 54 is piece of **** and the guy that drives it is a *****. belair, I can't believe I didn't take more pic.s of that shoebox, its stunning. the section was perfect, and it sat just right. I must have stared at it for 20 mins.
Nice pix, man. Thanks! And what kind of idiot would put Hagan headlights in his Polynesian clone? Yuck!
