My '31 A coupe with Mercury dog dish caps on 15x5.5 and 15x6 steelies. Not sure what year exactly.... I think they are 55 or 56.
Also has a 55 Merc dash and planning on the 55 taillights (I think).

    That T is nice.

While we're talking hubcaps, who has 16" dress rings? Anyone repopping them?

  8. Yah I got a set from CW Moss from memory. Real nice trim rings too !!

figured I'd dig this thread up instead of making a new one.

the MOON ripple discs... I was thinking about throwing these on my '53. When did ripple discs come onto the scene? what other caps would you suggest?

Ripples were around in the late '40s -- maybe before the war too. But they were more commonly used on customs than on hot rods.

I like the ones on the '49 that B*** is building, don't have a clue what they are for, but would like to have set for my '50 Coupe.

cool, thanks man. Does anyone re-pop these?

I thought '57 Olds caps would look kinda rad, but won't fit my 15" wheels

Resurrecting this thread. I've decided to put caps other than simple baby moons on my '56 Chevy pickup... I LOVE those gold Packard caps, and the fiestas are sweet!

Maybe some of you guys have links to places where stashes of caps can be found?...

I got a 46 Ford sedan with some 15 inch rims on it. (probably later model truck rims) I was looking for some hubcaps that would clear the hubs on the stock axles. Anyone know what might work? Thanks
