What Shows Are Going On In Nc This Summer I Might Be Going Back To My Old Job And House And Would Love To Get To Some Shows This Summer Any Help Is Greatly Appreciated
Well, besides Goodguys and Auto fair there is really not whole lot. Although in Charlotte the New Drag Strip should be ready by September and I'm pretty excited about that.
Where's your house in NC? I have heard there are several cruise nights in the central and western part of the state. NSRA is coming to Richmond the third weekend in August and Pigeon Forge (Shades of the Past) is in September. Any others guys?
4th friday nite of everymonth is Oakboro they close the whole town, streets lined with cars, burn out contest late in the evening, Cruise at the river view inn every wed night in charlotte draws around 5o or so cars, Up the road in stanley on every friday night at Hardees will have more cars than what can be parked in all the surronding lots, Mooresville NC last Sat of the month on old highway3. Greensboro has a cruise on thursday night call Lets talk cars, There are alot of large sat shows all over the state and probable every sat you will have 2 o3 local shows you could attend. Really there is quiet a bit of activity in NC all year long. RED RED'S PLACE

Last year the Lead Sled Nat'ls came to the Hickory fairgrounds in the summer. I ***ume they'll return this year. It was an excellent show, probably 200 or more cars, many of them of excellent quality. Many nice customs, hot rods and of course a smattering of boring ****, but not too much. There should be some old threads re/ this.
Wednesday nights at Brusters Ice Cream in Mooresville is always a nice time. New and different cars every week.
I drive through Cape Carteret to and from work daily. It's about 20 minutes from my driveway. Give me a shout if going to be in the Jacksonville area. Jacksonville, New Bern, and Wilmington will have shows throughout the season. Also, pick up a Carolina Bargain Trader when you get in town, numerous car events are advertised in it. HAMBer "Bootlegger" is next to you in Swansboro.
cool all of my friends live in jacksonville ,swansboro area so i hope to have my truck done by the end of july it's sittin up there right now waiting on me
Saturday, July 5, 2008 Cl***y-Ch***is Car Show & Country Flea Market The most memorable show of the summer takes place under big old shade trees at Historic Poplar Grove Plantation, Plantation 10200 US Highway 17 N, Wilmington, NC 28411 There's usually a couple of hundred cars at this show.
