Road Devils CC Event "HELL ON WHEELS" Hot rods/Drag Races June 28. Mark your Calendar

Would the track get bent if we lined up with someone and did a heads up blast all the way through the 1/4? I know the clocks will read 1/8 but I'm not much for running short runs. I have a feeling some guys are gonna break their hot rods on this day. By the time I drag my tools, canopy, chairs, and cooler there may not be room for me to drive.

Vending spots will be prime. Vending area will be right behind the grandstands, near the food. It will be in the area that we will be having the flame throwing contest, pin-up contest, and concert. So all those that plan on vending, we've got you covered. Lots of room so nobody needs to worry about space.

Venders should enter through the Refugee Road Entrance.

We'll be there...I'm no where near ready with the Effie...so, The coupe it is!
Its also not prepared...no slicks...no posi, still a weak rear, still high rpm fuel probs...
oh, well...no more time, no extra money...but we'll have gas, food and tolls...and, albeit slower than it should be, a hot rod to enter in competition...

75 miles away, Rumble Club, Creeps...I couldn't miss it!!

I plan on being there with my 55 sunliner or 37 chevy p/u,is there going to be a year cut off because if enough want to come with me I might have to drive my 65 country squire since its a 9 pass. Jeff

***Drag Racing***
-Nostalgic "Flag Style" Drags with a flagger, actual racing will be ET-style with handicaps
-Open to all pre-1972 Cars and all Traditional style Bikes (who can pass basic tech inspection)
-Slick Tire and Street Tire Classes
-Trophys will be awarded for street tire class
-Purses will be awarded for slick tire class (1st= $500, 2nd= $200, Semis=$100)
-Time slips to all participants
-tech inspection starts at 9am

***Car/Bike Show***
-Open to pre-1972 American cars and Traditional Style motorcylces of all makes and models. No Sportbikes or off-road bikes/atvs.
-Trophys/awards for top 3 Road Devils Favorites

I will meet you guy over there Jeff. It may be easier for me to run the 34 straight up. Vickers will be behind me in his 49 Plymouth. Be nice if we could time it right so we could meet before going in the gates. We need to find a spot to set up the canopy too. I'm sure it will be hot.

 

Work saturdays? Id quit! Are you sure they will approve high velocity machines like falcons?

 

gettin' real close. We've been getting a really awesome response with this show. Going to be big.
