Man, that's a sweet T Bucket! Congrats! I like how you thought outside the box with your engine choice, too.

Nah....It came out of a '71 Jeep DJ5. BAsically a 2wd Jeep. Weird *** Rambler trans in it. Took some searchin' to find anyone in the Buick City to find someone willing to rebuild the trans. Has a big-nasty cam, 2bbl Demon carb, Clifford intake and a stall. Ran it a little last summer. Runs like all hell. Way more power and torque than the Flathead (RIP).

Coming from you, I dig it. I still woulda left everything for sweet 3-window love. Too bad Bruce has more $$$ than me! Thanks, Larry. Just to have you look is enough.

Was it a Chrysler cup holder gone bad?

Good to see someone's going to be done before BP. Looks like we may need a push. It will be a bit heavier than Scott's A was last year, though!!

I hear those Jeep 6's have plenty of torque! I had a 82 Ford Pick-up with a straight 6 in it,and I would have loved to put it in an A Coupe...great motor.

Close but not really at all. It came from my grandpa's mid-60's Schwinn excersize bike!! The temp gauge is where the timer used to be and the oil pressure is housed in the original speedo case.

That is really cool. How's he going to know how far he's gone, though? Next step is to recalibrate the speedo from the Schwinn so it works on your car!

I'm reserving judgement until I see it. That car had more soul than the night train when you built it. Looks like you threw all of that out the window just have something that would start easy, make a ton more torque and HP, easier to maintain, cheaper parts, less maintenance.....................................what the hell were you thinking?:eek::D
