Why I've been AWOL, or pics of my hotrod motorbike (OT a little?)

Well, here's what I've been up to the last few months. Built this 1958 BSA nearly from scratch, made the frame, tins, exhaust and everything myself, rebuilt the motor, etc etc. Thought a few of you guys that aren't regulars over at Jockey Journal might get a kick out of it.

Someone told me last night (we had a huge party at a bar and had the bike inside) that it was your car in motorcycle form. That made me feel pretty good :)

The truck is in Washington state with it's new owner.

How do you ***le something that you completely make yourself? Or did you start with a ***le and or a neck, and or engine numbers? Sweet bike, I'd take one.

Don't know yet about stripes. We got stuff to mix striping paint about the same color as the seat, but haven't decided yet. I was tpying with the idea of a single stripe around the rim on each side, and some very minimal stuff on the tank and fender.

Thanks for the kind words everybody, glad y'all like it!

Don't frequent the Jockey Journal, but I know bikes....

....and yours is the Mack Daddy!

I've got a couple 70's up bikes, but now I NEED an early 60's/late 50's twin to build a bile around. (or get an old-looking twin and do a little magic with it!)
