Another new guy here! John is the name, or Mercury Bluz after the David Lindley song. I live in southern Ontario, Canada I have a 52 Mercury M3 (Canadian version of the F3, for my American cousins). Found it for sale on the roadside in a rural area not far from home. The truck is from Sask, with only 39,000 original miles, a hydraulic tilt box, and relatively rust free. However this was a farm and golf course vehicle, and as such it carries many, many dents. Plans for the truck include pulling the tired flathead and replacing it with a 53 255 I also recently acquired, so that it will be mobile. Eventually I will rebuild the original flattie, warmed up with dual carbs and a cam of some kind, mate it with a T5 and a 9 inch rear. But that is in the future!! Right now I want to read and learn all I can about the truck and what others have done with theirs.
