I've read the good and the bad so I thought I'd share my personal experience.

Marty was a pleasure to deal with on all accounts. I ordered a polished valley cover and polished valve covers for my 331 caddy. The products were very fairly priced, quality is top notch. He was easy and very timely to deal with. One a couple occ***ions he went out of his way to call and leave messages on my cell and my office numbers to make sure he got back to me. Talking with him was nice. Very cool guy.

I mentioned that if at all possible I would like the stuff by this weekend which meant a rapid turn around. I called today just to check in and he let me know they tried to deliver it... even thought the post office failed to do so. I just went down and picked them up. Awesome looking. Solid. High Quality.

So he very much came through for me. I can start re***embly on my motor tomorrow which makes me a very happy guy. Even walked me through some of my pay pal inexperience.

The box they came shipped in was as professionally packaged as any I've ever gotten. Very sturdy. Not overstuffed with ****.

All in all I had an excellent experience and I will recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again... especially if he produced a triple deuce manifold for my 331.

Pictures to follow hopefully next week.

Marty if your read this. Thanks very much. Thumbs up to you. Look forward to doing future business with you.

I have also bought several pieces from Eelco and I was completely pleased.........delivery was reasonably fast, prices were very fair, and I'd buy from them again any time.....

I feel 100% confident when i recommend that NOBODY deal with Eelco.

I know several people who Marty has flat out **RIPPED OFF**, including a good friend from the Road Zombies. For example, a friend of mine spend $2600 bucks on a Nailhead 6 pack intake w/ carbs-- and was ripped off.

If i was a betting man--- I don't believe that Marty is the type to purposely calculate ripping folks off, i just think that he gets himself underwater-- gets overwhelmed, and just drops the things that cause him to be underwater. In a nutshell, i think the guy is spineless. Things may work out if you get him on a good day-- roll the dice if you must.

I am making some bold statements and taking some big shots. I stand by them and you guys know how to get a hold of me in San Jose-- unlike Eelco, i dont hide behind anything.

i wish someone would close this thread. ask around and you'll find a lot of folks have been ripped off by Eelco, as it kinda pisses me off. just because you dont rip everyone off, doesnt make you ok.

btw: he didnt rip me off.

I'm with Notebooms on this one!
He got me for several hundred dollars.
We have alliance vendors, in good standing, who sell any thing he can sell.
    Stay away from this guy!
I wouldn't give the creep the time of day!!

Hey man... just sharing my experience. Not sure why a good experience thread should be closed when bad ones are left to run their course. It's opinion and experience.

    mine was good. nuff said.

I will jump in on this,
I am a dealer for Eelco and I have not had no problems with Marty. I chat with him alot and we talk about this, there are always 2 sides to every story you hear. Other people sell products like Eelco, but Eelco products are GREAT items. If people have a problem going threw Marty, PM me and I will get you the item needed. I am sorry if people have problems with Marty, instead of typing hate mail call the man and get it worked out.

I am North Central Speed Shop, and I am just a dealer

  12. I had an experience with Eelco that ended up okay
but just took a long time.

I bought a bellhousing and flywheel for my 401 nailhead. I got the bellhousing in a few weeks, but it took months and a number of calls to get the flywheel.
I guess (the story is) they had a run of flywheels that were machined wrong, but in the end I did get mine.
    No harm no foul?
I'm just glad it wasn't the last part I needed to get the car on the road... Then I would have been pissed!

I guess it's time I chimed in here. I have had a lengthy business relationship with Marty as well as his wife Sam and I have nothing but exemplerary things to say about them both. Not ONCE have they ever mis-led me, mis-informed me, or lied to me about anything. Marty and I have had a number of conversations and I can say with NO reservation that he has treated me and my business with the upmost integrity and honesty. Now, if you guys want to start bashing me for doing business with a company whose principals I respect, bring it on. I am sorry for those of you that are having whatever problems you are having but I learned long ago that it's best to take a person on THEIR merits and not what someone else says. I live with a saying "you get as good as you give". Nuf said.

This **** really pisses me off! My blood pressure spikes every time this comes up AGAIN.

Ryan has seen fit to remove this clown from our midst due to his unscrupulous business dealings with several of us HAMB folks.

Every time one of you characters gets away without being burned, you want to do his bidding and come on the board decrying about what a poor misunderstood soul he is.

That opens up the door for some uninformed guy to maybe give him a chance. Well, sooner than later he’s going to do it again, based upon your “cool experience” with him. Then it’ll be on you for being duped into being his shill.

He knows the people he’s burned! My money is gone and HE'S not making any attempt to repay me, nor Notebooms buddy, nor anyone else in his long and sorted career!

I’ll say it again, we have reputable alliance vendors here that can get anything he sells so why take a chance on someone who‘s proven himself to be a shifty businessman?

And now that you’ve admitted to being a dealer of his junk, I won’t deal with you either, just because I might inadvertently get something that might provide him with profit.

Now,,,,,,,,Mr. Moderator, please close this thread so we don’t have to deal with this horse**** any longer!

Yeah, I dealt with BOTH of them- PLUS the "I am the victim" Marty. Never again.

  17. I guess the answer to who runs his company would be "Me, Myself, and I" ...

Buying some Parts, and getting what you want without any problems is Normal
Its just the way its supposed to be...

But if you feel its unusual enough to start a Thread about it, thats not much of an endorcement...

  20. Or multiple personality like Sybil?

  21. Yeah, bold statements, considering you personally have had no ill dealings with him.

Therefore you are bashing him on hear say.

If you personally had problems, fine, voice them.

I have a problem with those whom spew vomit, without 1st hand knowlege.

i have never purchased anything from eelco but i sure would wan't to make things right to the point of delivering or refunding said persons money and have it publicly said that is what i did. risking reputation probably isn't worth the small monotary gain.
