vandalism is terrible , some people just dont care about other peoples property . Where I live I am part of an anti graffiti squad and our bosses keep complaining about the money we make them spend on paint , they think we should be making a dent on the graffiti problem but we paint over the graffiti then they graffiti over it twice as bad to get back at us

this is what I came home to...two week old tires...slashed

over 40 cars got their tires slashed in my town, and mine were the most expensive on the list...

and they caught the kids, and the court says they're going to pay me back...but who knows when...these tires aren't cheap...teenagers can't make that much money to get my truck going again to keep the city off my back, I give it a week before they tell me to do something about it, I don't have the money to get new tires for it, it can sit until the kids pay me back...I'll fight it to the end, unless the city wants to pay me....:)

Might sound ****ed but you might look into suing the parents if the kids are minors in some states this is an option.

Don't worry about it, it's only flat on the bottom. All you have to do is turn the flat side up.

id make the kids work at a tire shop having them mount and balance the tires themselves. i bet after 40 cars worth of tires in a days time they would have a better appreciation of peoples property!!!

Go get some used tires while you wait for the delinquents to pay you back (15 bucks a tire).

I dunno...if I ran with a bunch of 'tire-slashers', I'd have said "Wait...this guy is cool- let this truck go!" :D

That is a hell of an idea. I wish more judges would adopt punishments like this. Almost an "Eye for an eye." But these little punks would think twice befor vandalizing again.

Nah, there's a better way. Let mommy and daddy round up all the toys they've bought for their little darlings. You know the computers, cell phones, top of the line sneakers, quads, motor scooters, ipods, blackberrys, did I miss anything? Then put all their nice things in a pile and let all the folks who had their property damaged, return the favor. Be sure to have the cute little darlings watch. That should teach them a lesson. After all it's obvious mommy and daddy aren't teaching them right.

Better yet, sell all the little *******s' toys and repay the victims with the proceeds.

I'd say a long hot saturday mounting and dismounting split rims with just a hammer and a leaf spring ought to bring 'em around.

Sorry to hear of this. There is nothing worse than a vandal or a thief.

the paperwork they sent me in the mail asked what the ideal punishment would be, I wrote "work in a tireshop and work off the money...and walmart is not an option"

as for putting spares on it, I wouldn't mind so much if it were easy changing rims and tires...the front is no problem, but to get the rears on and off you have to jack up the frame and let the rearend hang, deflate the tires...which is already done, sadly...and wrestle to get the rim/tire out of the fenderwell...

My thoughts exactly, but then its not really the kids losing out, mom and dad will end up replacing it all in the long run. Make em work it off, I am sure there is alot of garbage on the road sides that could use picking up, storm drains to clean, public toilets to scrub...

I say make them work at the tire shops till they are all finished changing out the tires(evenings) and during the day, over the entire summer vacation, put nice bright orange vests on them and let them clean trash from the highways and local streets.

i say wait for em to get out of school and roll em up in a carpet and throw em in the river

  29. Nah, that lets them off easy. Get them blamed for slashing tires on some gang hood's car, instead.
