 Is there a geezer out there who can ID these Air Cleaners?
A wild Guess was Royal Pontiac, but I haven't been able to find any reference. They are lightweight Aluminum, Ribbed an louvered sides, with foam elements. tops and bases were recently powdercoated, but I don't believe that they were black originally. Never seen another set like them

  2. i could be mistaken, but im almost SURE those are not pontiac air cleaners, i HAVE seen similar louvered cleaners on other tripower but in chrome. not sure what they are off of but all the poncho tri power stuff is rounded. i have seen similar on a few t-birds however, but doubt they are ford either, they may just be aftermarket. pretty neat looking, maybe in chrome instead of powder coated.

Those are not Pontiac factory air cleaners, but were used by Royal Pontiac in some of their pre 64 Bobcat kits. We always referred to them as 'Badgers', probably referring to the manufactor. They were originally chrome plated. I've seen a set listed in an old Honest Charlie's ad that was posted here on this board.
