Hello out there.I thought it was time I introduced myself. I'm Don, I live north of Kansas City Mo. I have a 41 ford coupe and my driver is a 66 ford pickup.I might have met some of you in the K.C.area at my uncles upholstery shop in Liberty Mo.His name was Jan Hamilton.Most of the local rodders new him as "Fonz" He did alot of rods and loved customs.He had a 55 safari wagon chopped ,black with flames and buick wires. Anyway I enjoy reading the post and decided it was time to join.I hope this intro will do.I'm a slow on this keyboard and not sure of all the rules,but I'll try not to piss anybody off.Also this is my first post. hope I'm in the right place.
How much north of KC? I grew up in St. Joseph, about 50 miles north of KC. Lots of hot rod stuff goin on around there. Glad to have ya, -Abone.
I live in Cameron. Used to work at st joe harley part time in the shop. lived in savannah at the time. and yes lots of rods in st joe. thanks for the welcome.
Like your ride's. Esp. the work truck. Someday a pic of your '41 and your dad's chopped ride would be cool. Doing the Des Moine's Good-Guy's?
I will try to get some pics in the next day or two. I'm about as good with my digital camera as i am on this keyboard (slow).I'm going to des moines saturday.
