    Welder Series Photo Contest

We're making some changes to our home page, and I've been trying to think of the perfect picture to have on there. Since we're all about home builders, I thought I'd open it up to you guys to see what you've got filed away on your computers.
I'd love to see what pictures you've got of someone welding in their garage. It could be bench welding a part, or welding on a frame. That's basically the only criteria, but personally I think a night shot would make it even better. The person who submits the picture that we use will get a $50 credit on account at Welder Series.

Don't worry, privacy will be respected.

Posting the picture in this thread or emailing it to me gives me permission to use it.

    email me

Thanks! Let's see what you've got!

I know this isn't bench or frame welding, but thought I'd post it up anyway...

PS... Yes, I've already learned, I now weld with thick welding gloves every time now...

    thanks for the pictures!

another thing you learn not to do too often is mig welding sitting down... I've got holes in strategic locations in my underwear to prove it.

Exactly! Got one of those Harbor Freight "spark proof" aprons that is now full of holes instead of my under britches...

That is what Kromer caps are for. Pull it down over your ear and put your hood on over it.

When does this contest end, by the way? I could get some really really sweet high-resolution welding photography, if there's enough time...

These images below were all captured from videos, thus the lack of quality.

First of all, always keep a propane torch within a foot of the piece that you are welding, for safety reasons...
