My brother and I are coming to the show and wondering if the show really stops at 4pm or if it spills out into the streets so to speak. Is their an "after" life? :D

Whether anyone arranges anything or not, Woodward would be the place to be. Going be a warm weekend here and that brings everyone to Woodward to cruz. Shell station at 13 1/2 Mile rd you can park and hang out without any police h***les. Buy your fuel and beverages from that station and tell him you appreciate him supporting the cruisers.

If your looking for EXCELLENT BBQ, not as great as dinosaurs but close, go to Memphis Smoke in Royal Oak, corner or Main and 11 Mile. Only a couple miles off Woodward.

There is figure 8 races at the show. We plan on going down to Woodward, it's probably 1/2 hour to get down there from Davisburg.
If you want to see the T bucket in it's unfinished glory you can come to my house, half way between Davisburg and Woodward.

    GO WINGS! STANLEY IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No figure 8 races this year. About 4 people stayed from the show for the races last year and the races drew their own "crowd" so the decision was made not to have them. It was just doing two separate shows in one day, too much.

Thanks Aaron, I was aware of all this..just was wondering if they found something along the same lines as the Figure 8s. I guess that Burnout contest will be something i gotta see..Always was a fan of the Figure 8 racing, but I'll get over it:D

People can be alot of fun to watch....

Burnout contests are fun....if they're done Aussie style! US burnout contests, at least everyone I have seen, are lame.

The burnout contest is pretty cool, last year a chunk of burning rubber decided to lodge itself into my temple, that was fun. The best part? The emt didn't have a band aid!

Have you ever considered that a several hour "break" between the show and the figure eights might be why nobody stays?

Couple that with severe downpours starting during said "break" and it's no wonder that nobody stays!

    Several people have mentioned that
they would love the show to run longer.

Not everyone has to be home before the street lights come on.

Hey do they charge for parking? Getting kinda jazzed about seeing this show in person. My poor camera is gonna get a workout. Better make sure she is fully charged.

last year many people had left before the awards even started. It was so hot and humid. Then is rained (briefly) and more left. It was a good time to wind down the show. More 3/4 of the participants had left. We'll see how it works out this year.

already talking about doing a Billetproof Drag Race on Sunday next year.

For a good burger, go to the Redcoat Tavern on Woodward. Also, check out Vinsetta Garage. They still do repair on our era cars. They are always backlogged so stuff is sitting around waiting for their turn.

Aaron, EMTs with bandages are highly over rated. You should think about getting a better view so you can catch a whole tire like a NASCAR event.

This year is going to be no different, in fact it's suppose to be hotter.

I agree, if you want a burger on Woodward, Red Coat Tavern right across the street from Duggans would be the place. Quite a few steps above regular bar food.
