Pretty sure those are F-100. I think F-1's weren't quite as flat on the mounting surface.

The F-100 that bolt on old Ford (37-48) spindles were made in 53-56.

look like 53/56 F-100 from here, I'm away from my Truck right now, but think you found right one's, picture of Axel looks like F-100. Could be later year, but should work IMHO.

The drums are the same from 53 to 60 im sure . And so are the hubs I think . But to tell you what year it is for sure we would need to see a better pic of the driver side spindle. Also The 53 to 56 used the old school ball style tierods were 57 and up were the new style . I thunk

I got a '54 F100 front end sitting behind the shop and that looks damn near mirror image. You can ****he the rest. I'm not there to look at it, and I'm not an F100 guy. I nabbed it because pops did an IFS for someone, and it ended up in the s**** bin. Might make a good g***er axle. Hope that helped a little.

Sorry man. I snagged it for a future purpose. I thought it was stupid that they put it in the s**** bin in the first place.

Ok I thought 49 was the first time Ford wen to duel springs? If what you are saying is true, are they still self energizing?

  23. yes , self energizing...the stuff inside is all the same..so is the backing plate. just the hubs/drums have a different offset. use them , they will be fine

    i have F-1's on my `28 tudor

OK I went and took a look today. Looks like it has the ball style tye rod end. The problem is one side is missing a drum. He ***ures me there is one in the yard somewhere. Are drums hard to come by?
