hey i found this vicky coupe on craigslist... its 4500 but i was just wounding what these things look like done up. and is this worth 4500?
Grab it! If the wood is good and the body looks as complete and nice as the pics it's worth twice the price. Terry
really worth that much huh? its not exactly what i want but ill hack it up and make it what i want...
BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has a steel back, that is the better of the two! Can't beleve it is $4,500 and on the East Coast. Even if the wood is shot BUY IT!
dont think im gunna be able to s****e up the cash... but i emailed the guy we will see if i get a responce
From the pics that looks like a decent car. That body is quite rare, I certainly hope you wouldn't "hack it up". Buy it, sell it at a decent profit, then find the car that you really want. Just my 2 cents.
well i like the car but i dont know if i could turn it around fast enough i might rather take a blade to it!
i hope this guy emails me back... i have to go to his town to get a new hood for my f100 that i won on ebay for $10
I saw the same car sell on ebay a few weeks back for $6500. I don't know the story behind it but I do remember it was listed as being in NY. Maybe Its your lucky day and the high bidder didn't pay up. Just make sure you see it in person.

I was never clear on what exactly Ford was thinking with the Victoria. It's NOT a coupe, not really a sedan. What market sector were they aiming for? Anybody know. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. It is a rare body style. Seems that alone would make it worth the asking price.....Don.</TD></TR><TR UNSELECTABLE="on" hb_tag="1"><TD style="FONT-SIZE: 1pt" height=1 UNSELECTABLE="on"> </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Good response C9, but I'm guessing the guy won't get it. Anyone who casually talks about hacking up what appears to be a perfectly good Vicky can't be wrapped too tight. Let's hope someone with 2 functioning brain cells gets it first. Frank
well i just finally got see the tread again been gone for a few days... i was thinking about this car a lot the past few days and was thinking it would be a geed candidate to swap the body onto a better chasy leave the body alone otherwise... and just make it a decent looking hot rod and keep all the vicky stuff separate so its still of for if i want to sell it later...
Just to set the record straight - The Ford Victoria was indeed designated a coupe as witnessed by their advertising. Here's one of the Ford introduction brochures. Terry
