I need to shoot some late model OEM style metallic paint in some confined spaces (interior & firewall of my F100). Can I use a gun with 1.0 mm nozzle or is the 1.3 mm gun as small as I should go? (the gun with the 1.0 nozzle is physically smaller so it would be easier to hit all the nocks and crannies). Plse advise, Thanks,
Hey, The larger tip may well do a better job of laying down the metalic on the larger areas. The actual size of the metalic, in the colour will be the biggest factor, not just the gun body size. A 1.3-1.4 tip is good for most BB/CC oem finishes, today. S****ey Devils C.C. "Meanwhile, back aboard The Tainted pork"
but it can be done,,with like a minijet...mine has a 1.0 ..i think you will be fine for the small areas...but as pp said 1.3 would be better..
I never have a problem spraying metallics or pearls with my Sata Minijet 1.0. But then again I'm no pro painter...
