This car sounded like a complete animal! I was very surprised to see just a single 2bbl on there when it pulled up to staging...

Oof!! Thanks!! That Panhead just kills me. The only way it could be more perfect would be if it had a wishbone frame. Still, I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers...

Seriously, glad to share the pics. I mostly took them for you guys. I feel very blessed to be able to attend shows like this. I never really had this opportunity before I moved here! Wish I would have taken more video for you guys and in higher resolution.

  11. Awesome coverage!
    Just like being there
I really dig those banger dragsters
Would like to make it to that event one day

P.s. The panhead belongs to John Edwards, and the Triumph belongs to Lucky, he has been riding that thing for 16 years!!

bumper in the asphault. That car has been fast for may years. Again, thanks

His 32 is one of my all time favorite cars!! That guy has balls the size of Strombergs!! That car "shits and gets" man!! The amazing part is how fast that thing goes with all Traditional style hot rod stuff (split wishbones, f-100 steering, transverse leaf with ladders bars etc.) That guy is a hell of a driver.

Yes, Dennis is a quiet Gentleman, hard core racer. Raced with him
    for a lot of years.

I thought that Triumph looked familiar! Thank you for solving that itchy feeling in my brain....

Great to see you too man! That guy with the carb parts was great! I didn't bring enough scratch with me to get what I wanted so I grabbed his card and I'm going to get everything next weekend. The stuff he sells is PERFECT and his prices were also fantastic! Thanks man!

Did anyone happen to get a shot (or even video) of the Jimmy dragster's 2nd run? I saw the thing pull the wheels about a foot off the ground and it would be cool to have something better then my memory to remember it by.

Scooter great shot of capturing the day. It was a blast and some realy cool cars. Great time till I got fried like a lobster. I'm a sexy beotch in one of the early photos of the 33 or 34 roadster, but too bad jimmy is stuffing his face with a cheese burger and blocking a full frontal shot of me. Just kidding, thanks for driving jimmy.

  24. Wow! There sure are some very interesting cars that show up for the Antique Nats.

Can anyone shed some more info on the following cars...

    This Modified is pretty crazy.

This looks like some kind of 'big-block' flathead or something. Nuts!

Just awesome. Does Dick Kraft know they're using 'his' name? ;)

Looks like you guys stole one back from us Aussies. ;)

Still got the New South Wales plates and all!

    Wow!

    Double WOW!

This looks amazing. Inspired by the Hilborn 'liner?

Those are great pictures, I wish we could get a race together even half as good as this here in the Great Lakes area.

All the pics are great although I tend towards the bangers and V8 flat engine powered machines. Super photo's but I gotta make it to the event one of these years to see for myself.
    Thanks for sharing the experience!
