not sure if any of you have ever heard of the titus brothers or not.
    eldon and jerry.
they are working with george barris to create a cool new showrod type car called the vibrasonic.
eldon is responsible for building the voodoo spider and the vampyer. the vampyer was in street rodder a month or so back.
here's a link to the titus brothers site if anyone wants to take a look.
eldon is a long time friend of mine, and his work is top notch.

I wish I was friends with the Titus's. I looked at some of their build photos on carnut. I couldn't believe they would cut up a Jaguar that looked like it was in great shape. But it sure turned out great. Can't wait to see the new one. Concept drawing looks awesome.

One of the reasons that I'm into Kustoms is because of the Titus. I was fortunate to go to a Starbird show when I was 13 and saw some of the wild stuff that they were building. Love at first sight. I never would have thought that I would get to meet them and build a relationship. Very Kool guys. Eldon builds cars to drive. He surprised me and was at the Stray Kat 500. Drove the Voodoo all weekend all over the place. It was kool to see it kruzin down Hwy 75.

The current build is way Kool and I'm thrilled that we will get the chance to watch the birth of the Vibrasonic. Yblock292 is doing the frame work and Jack got skills.... Checkout the pictures below.

Good luck with the build look forward to the updates.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

The motor looks further forward in the rendering, than it does in the chassis.

the engine is located 24" aft of the front axle center line with a 7" drive shaft, the rendering is not to scale but we are building the car from a 1/25 scale model elden built.

Very cool! But I guess I don't understand why George Barris's name is mentioned. The Titus are perfectly capable of building a custom show car without George's name attached, or am I missing something?

I agree Denise....on the other hand, what Kustom fanatic wouldn't want to collaborate with the legend?

And don't forget Eldon's inspiration, big brother Jerry who started the Lead Sled shows. Jerry is the single most influential person in the kustom revival movement, going back to the early 70's.

Jerry inspired and promoted the revival, but he didn't consider it a revival because he never stoped building kustoms during the period that the rest of America abandonded the concept.

if you're gonna build something called "Vibrasonic" it should have a guitar amplifier built in.
