Yeah, it's impossible to schedule a date that doesn’t conflict with something in Oct.

I can go racing, eat dinner and hang out at the Continental Club for less than registration would cost for Goodguys, I'm goin racin.

It's also the weekend before hunnert car pileup. I hope I don't break anything important.

    See ya at the track.

Sweet....is that earlier than last year? The track was kinda slick due to the cool conditions.

I also heard they had new owners......is that true? Making any improvements if so?

Yep Root, little earlier this year.
The track is under new ownership with many Improvements being promised. The new guy seems very cool and totally into making "the river" a nicer place to race. They're fixing the grandstands, putting in more toliets, ect...

I just hope they don't improve it too much and kill the cool old vibe that historic track has. [IMG]

Maybe the track improvements will be nailing a mattress to that big Oak tree for safety. [IMG]

[IMG] Man you should have seen it a few years ago; at least they have a fence up now.

We used to hang out right on the spectator lane guard rail.

Actually the track owner suggested that they interlock their arms while they were "hanging out" to serve as the "gaurdrail"...! [IMG] [IMG]
