Are there any Grille ID experts out there?

Does anyone have any idea what this grille might have come out of? I am out of ideas. Thank you in advance.

 

Looks '55/'56 Chrysler (but that's so not it).

Thank you very much. That fits into with the time frame this was supposed to have been built (1952).

 

Lincoln with the center chopped out.

 

It looks European.
