I need your advice on which brake/clutch pedal ***embly(ies) will work best on my 1946 Chevy PiCoupe. I originally had an early 60's truck split master cylinder and hacked pedal ***embly, but have added S10 disc brakes on front with 55 Chevy p***enger rear drums. For ease of fabrication, I think I want to use a Hydraulic clutch slave cylinder.

Can I stay with the same master cylinder setup, or is there something much better for my application? I want to keep the firewall as clean as possible, but the above M/C would be acceptable as a period application.

Help me shift and stop safely! Any advice is welcome!

Go with a dual master cylinder.
Mazda B2000/ Ford Courier small pickups had nice little cast iron clutch cylinders, using them in my '40. Lots of the later stuff is plastic, wouldn't go there.

I used the set up in my 37` p-cup out of speedways catalog for a circle track car ....
single clutch and dual master set -up .....the clutch uses a hyd. throw out brg. ....... works flawless , and very compact in design .....

You could always got with one of the behind firewall units from Kugel. That way your firewall is clean.
