Check it out, the majority of these cars are scheduled to go to the crusher in about 1 month. If anybody near Spokane wants to save any of these, let me know.

    http://www.60impala.com/arc/harrington/

Cars yanked from the yard so far.....

    Both '55 Chevy's
    '53 Olds
    '50 Olds
    '67 Chevelle
    '60 Impala Hard Top
    '60 Ford 2-door

There are PLENTY of good parts left out there, although most cars are pretty rough, they should still provide plenty of valuable parts for somebody who needs them. The cars marked with yellow numbers are on the crush list, but the others are all still available for purchase.

I think what Dave is saying is that you can buy cars out of there for cash green money if you get there before the auction.
The 51 shoebox looks interesting if the other side is as good as the passenger side.

  7. They are, if you know where to look, I've been in every major one in this area and bought cars out of almost all of them. One we bought about 50 cars out of in 2006.

    Someone should grab this one.

It's a RARE 1945 Studebaker M15 C9. They only built 4000 of them, using the military US6 cabs with the swing out windshield. There's literally only a handful left, maybe 10 or so? I've wanted one BADLY since I first heard tell of them.

If it were closer to Georgia, I'd grab it up in a heartbeat. It'd kill me to see this one crushed...:(:(

So will someone PLEASE save it??

Man back where I'm from thats a good used car lot...not a junkyard. I wish I wasnt in the middle of a cross country move right now. I'd buy every one of those old trucks just for the cabs. I cant find a decent cab for less than 1500-2000 any more and you could throw a cat through them for that price. This stuff looks good.

There won't be an auction, cars that don't sell will go to the crusher. The cars that are not marked with yellow numbers are not scheduled to be crushed, so those old trucks are safe... for now. Prices are cheap $300 for the cars, $600 for the trucks. These are in Harrington, WA near Spokane. PM me for contact info.

I talked to the owner, and he is aware of the "coolness" factor of that Studebaker... says his son has some interest in it, but its likley still buyable.. but not for $600 probably.

The '64 Impala was rescued the other day, and i've spend a few days out there stripping misc parts from the Chevy's. I'll be back out there to get more over the coming weeks.

Turns out, that '66 Olds is a genuine '442! Sadly, it has severe rear end damage, but the drivetrain is complete.

You must, at the very least, go and grab ALL of the front grills.

    That shit is gold!

is he just selling whole cars or can parts be taken?

  18. $300 for a car? That is less than scrap price!

  19. That's what I was thinking.
I have the room and the money.
I would take a dozen of those cars off his hand tomorrow if it was a little closer.
That's exactly what I miss about WA state.
50 year old cars out there are in better shape than 15 year old cars here.

Update: Many cars have been saved! '55 Pontiac, '52 Buick, '62 Chrysler, '61 Chrysler, '57 Olds, '58 Olds, One of the Dodge pickups, '67 Lemans, '64 Impala... all gone now, but theres STILL good stuff left, so ya better hurry up if ya want anything! BTW Jasper, the grill shell for that other Dodge pickup is still there, just not on the truck. Grill though I don't know.

  24. My buddy got a 65 Lincoln, and I got the 37 Ford truck. Good stuff for cheap!!!

Chris, glad you got some cars out of there.. I was just there again yesterday and noticed the Lincoln was missing. I had a sweet low miles '63 Continental a couple years back... those are cool cars even stock. My current project car, a 60 Impala Sport Sedan came out of that pile.. you can see it at www.60impala.com.
