Drop it and leave it alone...sweet truck!

  8. Looks like its already a little lower in back than the front? Is that the case, or is it just the pics? You can get your axle dropped by Sid and remove every other leaf for about 4" of drop up front with out too much h***le. Out back, drop every other leaf from the pack and mount the rear spring hanger as high as possible on the frame for about 3" of drop. Or so Im told....... :D

Love your truck Squiggy. Bone stock is gorgeous. Adjust the stance (spring & axle up front & spring only in the rear) & add a set of 6.00 & 7.50 blackwall 'Stones.

Then stick a fork in it. You're done.

basically a Rudy truck is a fenderless slammed down chopped pick up truck 35-39 Ford pickup.it was one of the first "modern" well built truck (not a RAT ROD).i am sure someone will disagree with me but that is my interpretation of it.

All it takes to make that perfect is getting the nose just a bit lower than the back. I did an "OH WOW" when I opened the thread.

Does your truck have steel wheels or Wide 5's?

If Wide 5, they are close enough to "artillary" to make the swap not worth the trouble IMHO. I'd go black on black on black if it were mine. If I were forced to paint the wheels I'd look at a chocolate or mocha color. Something darker than the wheels on my '38.
