Wizards of Rods Fun Run

Anybody going to the Wizards Fun Run in Warrens WI on Fathers day weekend? Sounds like a good time, fish fry, poker run, flamethrower contest, camping, homemade trophies. It's their 27th annual. I'm thinking of draggin' the teardrop and staying a couple of nights.

 

The family and I will be there. We've been there about six times.
Its a really fun weekend and great people.
If you show up, look me up. We will have the flaked '56 Ford.

 

Sounds like fun. Been going for some time now, and wondering if they are gonna have the wet t-shirt contest again this year? Rumor has it Tom a.k.a. WIZ ROD may do a nude cruise at midnight Sat. in his recently completed T.

 

I was planning to be there to look around, nothing road worthy at this time though.

Actually did try the wet t-shirt contest a couple years ago. Tried it with both hands at once,got them good and wet, squeezed just right, not too hard, made my toss and it was over. Didnt do too well tho, got beat by a much older and experienced babe. Got to admit, they got everyones attention when they announced the contest. Is it gonna be safe approaching the teardrop? You know " if the trailers a rockin" Drinks sound great!

 

Hey milkman, how ya doing? You are near Eau Claire ,so i was wondering if you make Bean and Bacon days in Augusta? July 6th or so this year? Been up there the last 2 years and had a great time. Do you know Mr. Nasty[ white 58 chevy] or Papa John ? Try to find you at Warrens on Sunday, Free drinks at gtnrkix's rig the cool looking black hudson pickup,with the teardrop trailer behind it.

I actually live in Augusta, but most people would have no idea where that is. I have seen the white 58 (Mr. Nasty) many times. I used to see it daily in the garage as I walked to meet with a ride to work. I even remember seeing it in grey primer a few years ago. Unfortunately, I haven't taken the time to get to know Papa John (or anyone else for that matter).

I am planning to be at Bean & Bacon days as well, hopefully the kids will be with me as I know that the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile is supposed to be there. I am pretty sure that my kids (especially my 3 year old) will get a kick out of that.
