    Picked up a transmission from a friend that was going to be s****ped. 4 speed Ford with a freako wierd bellhousing, and part numbers I cant decode. EC22 DD 76518

    Then around the way we have

    1F2
    212E-7006F

    What is this thing a tractor 4 speed? Ill add pics in a few if these numbers don't identify it first.

    if the 4 mt holes are threaded . its probably a 6 cyl dagenham from an early 62/3 comet or falcon.side shots would help.

    He is correct.
    Before this transmission they used 3 speeds.
    Here is a better pic.
    Manufactured in England.
    It was used with the 170 and 200 inline sixes.
    Along with the Borg Warner T-10 it was a predecessor to the Toploader 4 speed introduced in 64.
