Try www.williamsons.com. They converted two clocks to quartz movements and they work great. Less expensive than a lot of people I talked with about a conversion. They can just repair it also.

i have a uncle that repairs clocks and he tells me that the problem is usually dirt. a good cleaning is 95% of his repair procedure. he is a fan of quartz conversions because of the increased accuracy. most automotive clocks are "self winding" meaning they wind themselves from the vibration of driving. part of the reason other than dirt that most don't keep good time because they sit motionless a good part of the time. he is in north carolina if your interested.
