The KRAWL / Lamar, MO / June 28, 2008

Lamar, Missouri sound familar? It is the home town of Night Prowlers Kustom accessories guru Gary & Molly Glasgow. The show has been going on for three years and every year the Hot Rods and Kustoms just get kooler.

The details are below.

June 28. Lamar, MO: The Krawl sponsored by Stray Kat Kustoms. Show woill be held on the Downtown City Square. Open to all Kustoms and Real Hot Rods. Hometown of Night Prowlers Kustom Accessories, Redneck Street Rods, and Fast Eddie's Hot Rod Shop. All entries will receive dash plaques and a goody bag. FREE feed Saturday afternoon. We've made a couple of changes this year. The free feed is Saturday night instead of Friday night. Fast Eddies Hot Rod Shop / Redneck Street Rods have moved into a new building and they would like to have an open house. The past years, they've provided food for all of the car guys and the spread that they put on in unreal. The best Chili that you will ever eat. You will be able to get a free meal and checkout they're kool projects. If that is not enought Sunday morning Night Prowlers will host an open house.

We have a lot of guys come in early on Friday and The Super 8 Hotel is a fun place to hang out. To get your room reservations call 417-682-6888.

Sorry forgot to mention that My Merc will be back on the road that weekend and it will be making its debut. Ralph Schindel did a heck of job on her.. If Kid Rock is the Rock n Roll Jesus, then Ralph is the Kustom Jesus. He has been a Savior to my Merc.

Also below is the T Shirt art. Still need to add lettering but this will give ya an Idea. Ron Myers did the striping and I through on a '40 Ford Pick up that I would like to build some day...

The old date was the 21st. I had to change it because of hotel rooms. they're is a big soft ball tourny that weekend and you cannot find a room with in a thirty mile radius. We could not do the show without hotel rooms.

I'm (still) having computer problems and I'm not able to udate the web site. We did a mailer and passed out over thousand flyer to get the word out.

No more confusion, the Krawl is the 28th of June.

I had a lot of fun throwing the shirt together. One of these days when I build my Hot Rod I'll have to run a straight six.....Later stuff?? Yes, we will allow your '58 Chevy wagon in. LOL! .... I've not seen the Camaro before. Kruize them on down I'll sneek the Camero in.

I was talking to Myers this weekend, I asked if he has seen your truck yet? Pictures look way too kool. You can have a lot of fun driving the truck around chasing parts for future projects. Hopefully see ya in Lamar.....

We have more and more HAMBers show up every year. We have three cars that I know of making their debut. Jack (YBlock292) in his newly motivated ’50 Ford Sedan. Gary Mundy in his heavily customized ’59 Oldsmobile and My ’51 Merc.

Rain or shine we will be there....Saturdays forcast for Lamar is perfect. rain is going to stay way south of us. We are waiting around for the rain to stop this morning after that we are going to say good-bye. Some of the guys started pulling into town last night.

Sorry Mick I had to say it. I wish I could make it. Salina is a plan. I'll also be in Fort Scott. I just need to send you my entery. Could you please bring me a flier and I'll just fill it out in Salina. Hope everyone has fun this weekend. I sure you will Mick puts on one hell of a good show.
