I'm getting close to putting my Plymouth on the road. Anybody know how much time I have to get my car inspected, after I receive the Pa. registration plate?

  4. I'm curious -

What type of registration tag are you getting; Regular, Antquie or Street Rod ?

It's been at least 2 weeks after my first rejection and I haven't heard anything yet.

C.C -- I'm going with a standard registration for now, because I want to drive it soon, and I've talked to guys who say it can take up to a year to get a Street Rod registration. Apparently it's become a money-maker for PennDOT, and they have lots of hoops for rodders to jump through.

    Wrong,

I got my plate in exactly 1 month, I built a fiberglass 32, and went threw the whole reconstructed****le thing. I didn't buy a****le first.
someday Pa. is going to get tough on inspecting modified cars without street rod plates. street rod plates allow many legal modifications IE. no fenders, no bumpers, no hood.
