=Mike=,Ron, I feel your pain. Those pics were taken at local cruise nights here.

I just came back from a big cruise in Elmhurst, Il. I was thinking the same thing. Hoods up, waxing and dusting, show signs, lounge chair circle jerks, that's not cruising. Luckily there's quite a bit of driving on account the cruise runs around a 6 block area and bumper to bumper cars.

But cruise nights are big social gatherings and people want to be comfortable and have their egos m***aged.

Here's my old 40 Merc, sold it in the mid 80's.

 

the majority of those sleds are cool..but does anyone else think the suede green continental thing could lose a few more inches outta the top?or at least get less of a slant on those pillars?they look kinda funny like that.
