I saw this on ebay anyone know the history of it? I wouldn't normally post ebay ads but this old show car may get parted out if not sold. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...37;3AMEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=330244073103&rd=1
A couple months ago Louie called my father and told him of a 32 3 window for sale in a NJ paper, he went and looked at it, at that time the guy wanted around 25k without the motor, , he said it was "wild" but not up our alley, not sure if it sold and is for sale again since it show's it's in NY now, I think maybe without the crazy nose maybe it could start to come around a bit.
if you look at the front end and get rid of the head light wings then look at the WILCAP & SHARP EQUIPPED Chrisman Bros. Bonneville Coupe has the same style front end if you kept it chopped it more get rid of that rear end i think it would look very cool
seen it a bunch straight 70,s even 80,s style NOW poor car parting that thing out may be the best for it
Interesting car. Could that car have been built my Miles Mesa? Not sure of the correct spelling, he was from Downers Grove, Illinois I believe. An old friend of mine had a '39 Ford coupe that Miles did some work on, including a hood scoop identical to the one on the deuce shown here...'55-'57 T-bird. Just some rambling thoughts.
I agree with the earlier poster. Lose the wings and headlights, change the wheels, I bet most of you guys would dig it.
