I wanted to go but the dog had surgery last thursday. Looks like a good time though. This car would really cool if it was not so fucking low. To each is own, but if it were mine it would have to come up probably 8 inches! Other then that it's pretty spot on....Oh wait a chain steering wheel.

    So close yet so far.

    Three strikes:

    -Chain steering wheel
-Air bags on a hot rod
-Wrong stance for a hot rod. Please people, hot rods are higher in the back!

We really need to start using something like Trash Rod to describe some of these disasters.

I'm not sure when non-car related garbage from the backyard became hot rod parts.

Amen dudes, ya'll got that shit right, I walk around some of these shows and look at some of this type of engineering and just shake my head and ask myself, why? I've seen it all, there was one car at some show we went to that he did'nt even have a nut on his pittman arm and it was suppose to have been driven there too, some of that shit is just too dangerous! I just don't get it! I was taught better than that, most of that crap looks like who ever built it did'nt give a shit!:p Oh well, enough bitchin for one day! I try not to bitch too much, but when I do, you might want to listen!

They already have that term, it's called an "Ol Skool" Rod.

Seriously though, I vote for Hack Rod. Rat Rod is too 'cool', I think Hack Rod really conveys the quality of work.

  28. Great Pics Stretch, I'll add some more by friday. We meet some great folks there like bama46fleetline, Hotrodwalt, and GreenMtnBoy's Dad. Enjoyed the ride down friday with GreenMtnBoy and his Dad in the '32 (Really cool ride). Cooter

Your guys' standards are just too high. That's a perfect "rat rod" or trash rod... Whatever you wanna call it. I'd just hope it wasn't driving down the same street as me!
