Got mine last month! Paid for my alliance(sp) and still saved money!!!!!!!!

  3. Thats for sure. I ordered mine this morning but not the coker cl***ic. I got the firestone 560-15 for the fronts and firestone 820-15 for the rears. Saved a bundle with the alliance membership.

Only 6%? Thats pretty commendable with them holding it as low as possible, keeping in mind our oil-based economy.

I'd like to see Discount Tire hold it down that well.

This is a very true statement..no joke!
most industries have in the past been jumping at 4 to 6 % per year. on an average, this year i have seen some go as much as 24%.or more,.some not related to cars..but you get the idea..

6% increase? wow at a time like this when everyone is tight with money and losing their houses you would think that wasnt a smart move to keep sales going. I think people would start looking else where for their tires

6% is nothing considering the fantastic alliance discount and outstanding customer service they provide. I don't promote companies this way often but they have gone out of their way for me and lots of people I know.

Coker is not the only tire company increasing their prices... It takes oil to make rubber, so I'm betting that every tire made is going to increase in price just as the rest of the economy has.

How cool is it that they are warning us?

I just got off the phone ordering my tires. If you are picking your tires up at a show as long as you order before July 1st you get the lower price. So, if the show isn't for 2 months it doesn't matter, just order now. You pay for them at the show. Now I just have to decide if I can tolerate paying $20 to go to Bloomington Gold or if I should just wait and get them in Davenport...

I agree wholeheartedly and this is the second e-mail I've received from them about the increase so they are at least putting it out there for people to know.

not only does coker have a great product, but their customer service and care is unmatched. I will gladly pay the extra 6% and keep supporting coker. ****, gas prices went up more than 6% in the last month.

If someone's in the position where this 6% kills the deal, I truly feel sorry for them.
Funny thing is, speaking for myself, Coker got an even larger amount of respect from me than they had before. And I've never even bought from them (yet) 'cause my car's far from ready.
Thats the kind of forward-thinking and service that guarantees me that Corky will be there for me when I need him. Thats good ****! :)
