I hate to ask, but what is a '56 Buick power brake booster and M/C worth?

I've just sold the steering setup on this old Buick I'm parting out, and the guy also wants the power ***ist brake and master cylinder to rebuild. I don't want to give the stuff away (its going to Germany) but I also don't want to take advantage of the guy either.

Please help me out here with what this stuff is worth.

    Thanks!

Up for 2 hours and only smart*** Chaddilac had something useless to say?

    Help me out here guys.

Anyone know what new, rebuilt, or other used cost?

    Thanks!

  4. I generally look at how much the parts car initially cost compared to how much I have made off of it. If its paid for and I,m feeling generous the buyer gets a deal. What goes around comes around.....

The guy has to pay for it to be shipped to Germany... give him a break. A little good will goes a long way. Twenty to Forty bucks.

if the guy is a fellow hamber cut him a deal. sell it a "core prices" because parts like those are really hard to tell the actual working condition.

That's the thing - I don't know what core prices are, and I've never priced a brake setup before. He's not a HAMBer, but I'm sure he'll be by the time I get done talking to him!

I was researching online and found that some of these things new were selling for $200-$300 in '01, but am having difficulty finding anything else.

Thanks 49... I was figuring about what you've shown me, and I'd seen the active auctions, but not the completed ones. That gives me a good idea of what to suggest to him.

    Thanks guys!
