Here's a design I did for a local radio show's car show last weekend.

They had to move the car show to the fairgrounds, due to flooding along the Mississippi River...I'd post pictures, but it was a park & shine show.

I've been playing/reworking/tuning/pulling my hair out with these for some time. I'm wanting to do a few new posters for sale and I keep wanting to a Hotrod dictionary (pictionary?) poster set to sell. So I started with a few that I was trying to describe to my wife some time back when folks drop by and terms start flying around the room like "blown" or "Tripower" & "Highboy" (three things I secretly want for my next hotrod, shhhh... don't tell the mrs.)

Anyway, Here we go. I could use some help with the definitions if someone has a clearer way to define, give me a shout!

OK thought I would play again this week. This is an unfinished piece that I've been playing around with.

 

Polock congrats on getting in R&C, I picked it up a few weeks ago and was leafing through it and got the page halfway turned and I knew it was one of yours, great work man.

The Thing!
Gene Winfield, now 81 years of age, still goes fast
in hot rods. One of his early machines started out as a drag racer.
Later modified for use on the dry lakes and salt flats.
The unique thing about this 27 T was the way he
sloped the windshield back. Early aero!
He named it "The Thing". Quite appropriate.
